Professor Gabriella Colussi-Arthur teaches in the Department of Languages, Literatures and Linguistics at York University. She had been on a quest to learn about family roots for a few years now. When she uncovers long lost family documents, she sets on a course to trace the journey of her ancestors from Italy to South America. As she begins to uncover some truths about her family's, and in particular, her great-grandfather's life and mysterious death, her research reveals an incredible cultural connection between Italy, Argentina and Canada.
