Produced by Jerry Fairbanks Productions and distributed by Modern Talking Picture Service, the film is a feature-length look at modern oceanography, exploring and explaining mysteries of the deep. It presents an all around look at life and the land beneath the seas. Included are scenes of aquanauts living undersea, the dramatic moment when an atomic submarine breaks through the polar icecap. The dramatic tenseness of the recovery of a lost H-bomb is revealed as the search is made - and successfully concluded. Narrated by Lt.
