Out of the Blue (2022)

After spending time in prison on assault charges, Connor Bates works in a library and spends his time trying to put his life back together. When he meets Marilyn Chambers, the wife of a wealthy businessman, they begin a passionate affair and soon they both consider a plan to get rid of her husband, that is, to murder him. A romantic thriller that has points of contact (some of them quite evident) with classic films such as The Postman Always Rings Twice (1946) and Double Indemnity (1944).
