A group of friends from Hertford, UK are braving through the worst part of the lock-down organizing online parties and trying to keep in touch with each other online, as much as possible. For a short while it looks it's all going well, however Henry Jekyll, a local doctor, is becoming more and more elusive, missing more and more of the parties and being less and less in contact with his girlfriend, Beatrice Hart and the rest of the group of friends. His absence is partially blamed on his increasing obsession with genetic engineering, which he does at home, in a makeshift lab. His experiments, which he conducts since university, have strained his relationship with his childhood pal, Hastie Lanyon, with whom he also has an almost lifelong rivalry in all romantic things. The lock-down doesn't help, as it keeps them apart. Feelings of isolation are increasingly present, and whilst they are battling the pandemic successfully, they all have now to confront other problems and ultimately deadly threats.
