My Past, Your Future (2022)

A seemingly normal family life is thrown up in the air when Taylor's manipulative mother Emma, announces the return of his abusive father, Anthony. It is not long until the parents are at each other's throats. Emma makes Taylor promise to stand by her no matter the circumstance despite not doing so for him. To see Taylor through this emotional turmoil his childhood friend Andrew is with him every step of the way. He makes Taylor realise the severity of the situation which leads to a decision of leaving the dysfunctional family behind.
