Slotherhouse (2023)

Emily Young adopts a sloth to boost her chances of becoming sorority president, only to discover it's implicated in a series of deadly incidents within her sorority house. Unapologetically absurd yet self-aware, the film nails its tone. Matthew Goodhue's inventive direction comes through especially in his intriguing use of depth-of-field. For a romp that doesn't take itself too seriously, you gotta check this.
