Alcides and Aniceto. The Rossi, a century of tango. The Argentine Tango Society is proud to present this documentary about those extraordinary tango double bassists Alcides and Aniceto Rossi. Father and son. Both of them, brighten and founders of new styles, each one at his time. Creators of techniques and articulations that have marked the history of tango and music. With the humility of the greats, with the simplicity of those who know, these two musicians have been part of the founding orchestras of the genre, such as those of Aníbal Troilo, Alfredo Gobbi, Osvaldo Pugliese and the Sexteto Tango, among others. Made by Daniel Tonelli and Marcelo Turrisi, with the production coordination of Silvina Damiani, it has the testimonies of Alcides Rossi, Víctor Lavallén, Ignacio Varchausky and Jesús Mela, telling us the "behind the scenes" his father Luis Mela, of the Pugliese Orchestra, of which he was presenter for many years and many tours around the world.
