A Cold Kill (2021)

A Cold Kill is a whodunit film about the murder of an older man for his money. Robert Owens is a retired older man and concerned father. His daughter, Lora, struggles with a drug addiction that has caused their family a lot of problems in the past. Robert is actively trying to get Lora help when a robbery takes place at their home when he is away. He calls the local police to report the crime. A suspect is named and Robert decides not to press charges. Two weeks later he's murdered. His murder becomes the center of Detective Burke and Detective Mosley's ongoing investigation into a local string of murder-robberies in the region. The detectives follow leads and question all those who knew Robert Owens. They are able to piece together clues and a final tip leads them to the murderer.
