Janiv - Real Life Story of Covid Warriors of Latur Police (2021)

This short film is inspired by a true story. The strict lock down was issued in India and so in Latur, a city in Maratha, Maharashtra. People were facing challenges of the corona, #covid19 symptoms, starvation due to no work, and a lot more. During this period a couple of Paradhi Community was jailed in a case of illegal alcohol (liquor) manufacturing and selling them. This was not the choice of the couple but the compulsion as they had 6 kids and seventh on their way. Kids were among the age group of 1 to 13 years. The couple carried the younger son with them to jail whereas 5 others were at home. They didn't have any relatives to take care of their kids. The couple requested a lot to police officers not to imprison them, but Cops are meant to maintain law and order in society, so they did the same. But the authorities also decided to help the kids and feed them until their parents are out. Meanwhile, kids decided not to support their parents for illegal jobs and study hard to become successful in life. Note: Police officers may be strict sometimes but it is for our well-being. Even they are humans and they too have emotions. Not everyone is corrupt. So "Know More" so that you judge "No More"
