The short film was adapted from the pop singer Wenwen Yu's real life experience when she went to mainland China from Canada for her career. She wanted to win her audience with her music but the companies wanted to decorate her voices with high prices. It was with this clue the script was planned. In a real life self-ridicule, Wenwen Yu went to a company for her album release and met her childhood best friend. Her friend pointed out the company's over-price in the pitch and brought Wenwen Yu to other friends who had the same dream. The story started thereon.
