This narrative documentary is about New Hampshire Holocaust survivor Stephan H. Lewy, who is still doing very well at 95-years-old. Stephan was a Jew born in 1925 in Berlin. He escaped capture by the Nazis many times and eventually made it to the United States, where he and was drafted into the US Army. He fought under General Patton in the Battle of the Bulge and liberated Berlin, as well as the largest Concentration Camp, Buchenwald and received the Bronze Star. Stephen tells what it was like growing up as a Jew in Germany during Hitler's rise to power and how atrocities like the Holocausts happen because societies allow them to. Voice-over actors bring to life many of the key events in Stephan's Journey accompanied by his family photographs and historical images from the time.
