Lake of Records (2022)

Around 83 years ago, Walter Engle introduced a new sporting tradition to the central Florida area. On the shores of Lake Hollingsworth, Lakeland held its first Orange Cup Regatta, a power boat race that still captivates spectators to this day. "Lake of Records" is a cultivation of research and documentation of the history of the Orange Cup Regatta. Centered around an interview with Walter Engle II, this project dives into the importance of family and community.
