Feeling the grip of time demanding greater attention, a community theater playwright and local professor Richard Pratt is found dealing with new challenges with friends and family members. Life's classroom teaches this professor that the role of his profession is uncontrollably reversed. A group of students magnificently teach this professor a greater meaning of life. Close family members and friends, along with strangers encourage him to embrace his journey into the next season of living. The events of his journey have "purpose of meaning" and as these events unravel, they remarkably seem like pre-destination.
