Sidelined (2019)

Leela's world is split in half. One piece belongs to her Indian family, and the other to her high school football team, the Comets. But her parents speak a language she no longer understands, and her only connection to the team is through her best friend Eric, a backup quarterback. On the night of a big game, her parents plan an emergency trip to India. However as the clock counts down, Leela sees an opportunity to bring family and football together, even if for just one brief moment.
