Rot (2019)

Male full frontal nudity, including an erect penis. Female topless nudity. A character pressures another for sex but is rebuffed. A character asks another for the loan of condoms.

Characters are killed, mostly offscreen. One is seen lying on the ground bleeding heavily from the head. One us bludgeoned with a hammer - graphic, with injury and blood detail. A character steps on broken glass and bleeds on the floor. A character holds a knife, which another character then uses to cut their own body; some blood seen. Other deaths are mostly bloodless and / or unseen.

Misogynist language used, including cunt and bitch. Fuck is also used a few times.

Wine and beer are drunk, and cigarettes smoked.

Themes include sexual violence and strong misogyny. Characters become possessed by a demonic force.

A character has what looks like a strong seizure. They fall to the floor, shaking uncontrollably. Their companions, in the main, have no idea how to handle it, apart from one who looks for help from the internet. After the seizure, the character is disoriented, confused and violent. Others later research connections between seizures and traumatic events.
