Hello, Mother; Hello, Daughter (2019)

As Ma and Linda, mother and daughter, watch an old silent film from the 1920s at home one night, Ma claims that one of the actresses in the film was in her class. Taking this with a grain of salt due to her mother's dementia-ridden mind, Linda chooses to ignore the remark. But, as Ma continues to make increasingly implausible claims about recognizing the actress, Linda begins to lose patience with her. And, as the conversation escalates, Ma begins to divulge multiple disconcerting remarks about her daughter, rendering Linda's struggle to distinguish between her mother's fact and fiction even more difficult.
