The documentary accompanies the school journey of the fourth grade students of the Vicente Forestieri School, located in Villa El Libertador, a suburb of the city of Córdoba (Argentina). Through the observation and interviews, the way in which this group of children experience the patriotic and cultural events that are held annually in the institution is investigated. The presence of children from immigrant families raises questions about the social mandate of the school in nation building. Likewise, childhood itself raises questions regarding the procedures that are carried out for the formation of national subjects. The film shows the experience and readings of the children in their relationship with the acts, the anthem, the flag, the homeland, the world and the borders.
