Memoirs of a Fighter (2021)

David Mark, a retired war veteran and former MMA fighter is constantly dealing with an internal fight against PTSD. His support system of 5 close friends and brother, along with his wife Tara keep his demons at bay. Carlos Rivera is struggling in his marriage with his wife Maria, while trying to get his daughter Jessica into college. One day an accident occurs, involving a drunk driver that changes everything. David, Carlos, Paul, Jarrod, Fred, Steven, and Tony have to come together in a time of heartbreak to reach the light at the end of the tunnel. Fred runs an underground fight club and is hosting a tournament, David decides to get back into the cage after over 20 years and fight one last time to help those he loves. Tara wants a baby more than anything in the world, Maria craves passion. Paul battles his addiction to drugs, Jarrod chases the feeling of his former glory, Steve pursues his dream of becoming a comedian, Tony works to become his own boss, and Fred wants to one day retire. The faith which David finds in himself and through Carlos belief in God are only one step in his endeavor to overcome life threatening and symbolic obstacles of his opponents Bruiser, Payne, and Goliath. It will take all of them together to fight for hope and a semblance of peace.
