Kakerlak (2021)

In KAKERLAK we follow SILAS, a man in his early 30's who struggles with a gloomy and malevolent mindset, forcing him into uncomfortable situations that makes him angry and disgusted by his younger and fragile girlfriend Emma, whom he tries to control. As Silas' frustrations get too much, he tries to seek help from his mentally ill farther, who lives in a closed psychiatric ward. But there's not much help to obtain, as the father is confident that a cockroach is forcing him to do things against his will. Very soon the same cockroach begins to haunt Silas' mind and consciousness. The cockroach makes Silas terrorize his girlfriend and his sister Catharina, until he desperately tries to heal himself with his own shamanic exorcism.
