Paradisus: The Thousandth Year (2014)

A documentary about the spectrum of Jewish identity that exists in Poland today. Although small in population, there are individuals and initiatives all over Poland that are working toward building a new Jewish life and culture in a country that many thought would never be a home for Jews again. In the midst of this revival, an historic wound over the distribution of reparations is reopened when an outspoken leader in the more liberal Jewish community in Warsaw accuses the Chief Rabbi of Poland of embezzlement in German Forbes magazine.
