Hombre muerto no sabe vivir (2021)

Coast of the Sun (Andalusia, south to Spain). Tano is a mature who works as the strong man of Manuel, an old man who in the 90s turned the richest and powerful man in the city as procurer in nightclubs, drug dealer and CEO of a building company during the real estate speculation happened in the country. Weak and struggling with the dementia, Manuel devolves in Tano the control of his organization after the despise by his younger son Ángel, thinking that he's useless and incompetent. Assisted by his friends Paul, Roberto, McCoy and Eduardo, Tano pays the bribes to politicians and police to have free way in the business. However, things go bad: the profits have dropped as the money, and a new and lethal drug have arrived to the city. As if it wouldn't enough, a masked band assaults them in the nightclub, stealing all the drug shipment received from Morocco. When Tano and Eduardo meet the brutal and violent Nolasco to give explanations about the missed drug, Nolasco kills Eduardo crushing his head, giving Tano one week to recover the shipment or he will be the next. Visiting Sabio and Chule's gypsy camp looking for information, Tano talks with Antonio and Trujillo as his girlfriends, pregnant Susi and Aitana, in addition to see by himself the effects of the new drug. After the band appears by second time in the beach to rob them again, tragedy is in the air: in the shooting one of the thieves is hurt resulting to be Antonio, moved by Trujillo to the camp hoping to save him. Asking help, Trujillo calls his bosses: Nolasco and Ángel, associated to force Manuel for accepting the new drug in order relive the business. Nevertheless, Antonio and Susi are killed by Nolasco, forcing Trujillo and Susi to keep silent. Warned by Roberto about that the thieves could be gypsies, Tano, Paul and McCoy return to the camp, finding a scared Aitana. Learning the truth about the band by threatening her, Tano tries to protect her at the same time that moves his friends looking for Trujillo, Nolasco, Ángel and the missed drug, in a dangerous cat-and-mouse game where nobody is safe and sound and the violence is the only answer to survive.
