Eb and Flo (2019)

Ebony picks up a letter. Yet another one in the post addressed to her dad who she hasn't seen since she was a child. She talks to her mum who tells her he now lives in Ramsgate. Ebony must meet him again. Later that day she goes to visit her best friend Florence, who is in the midst of another blaring row with her abusive boyfriend. Ebony tells Florence about her plans to leave for Ramsgate, but Florence begs to accompany her on a 'road-trip'. As Ebony starts to shut the idea down, she notices a large bruise on Florence's leg. She can't leave her here.
