Mosquito' is an experimental exploration of anxiety, following a teenager whose worries about her future evolve into a sinister presence. Sage is quiet, lacking in confidence and the ability to properly express her feelings. We meet her at a point where she is anxious about the next stage of her life: university. Although her friends and family seem optimistic, Sage's fears about the status of her uni application are apparent. Her feelings of isolation from those around her are also growing. Over time, Sage's worries soon take the form of a sinister presence which begins to torment her. The 'Mosquito' - a metaphor for anxiety and depression - lures her further into the darkest parts of her psyche and seeks to hold her captive to her biggest fears and insecurities. Will Sage conquer her saboteur?
