Three Stories About... (1999)

Three classical stories about love, duty, and sin, echoing today. "Der Mond" - during the birthday of a successful Estonian surgeon, a motif of Karl Orff's opera reminds the man, who has forgotten God, of the scary secret of his past. "Tristan and Isolde" - reminiscences of the ancient Celtic legend in modern Riga. They both are doomed to illusion, separation, pain and loneliness. "Aida" - a drama caused by a storm, wakes up feelings between an Estonian policeman and a young Middle-Eastern woman, seeking refuge for herself and her child.
