Los Angeles, present day. Sam is a big fish from Utah, chasing her dream to become a professional dancer. Lisa is an aspiring actor and part-time streamer, striving for her big break. After moving in together, they forge an ethnically ambiguous bond; confronting past and present identity issues of not feeling "enough." Whether it's auditioning for racially exclusive roles, the N word debate, or not speaking Spanish, these women struggle to find their place in the world.
