Four friends are due to meet up for their ten year reunion dinner, when an insidious comment in their group chat threatens to undo the entire friendship, one personal belief system at a time. An exploration into the toxicity of narcissism, and how we internalise, personalise and perpetuate the lies that come from those closest to us. Each woman striving for their own unachievable version of perfection, what are the effects on their relationships with their family, friends and themselves? Will they overcome obsession, anxiety and competition for perceived success? Who will choose self worth over social expectations? What happens when the invisible thread of connection finally snaps?
