Bharata

Bharata - an introverted high-school student living in Chennai, India - feels embarrassed of his national identity, having grown up on American media and culture. When he announces his decision to go to the United States and pursue an artistic path in college, he comes into conflict with his tight-knit family. Whether it be his nationalistic father, his concerned mother, or his pious grandfather, everyone seems to have a reason to keep him in India.
