Across the Border (2020)

Have you ever wonder how far will an immigrant go to pursue happiness, safety, a better life, help loved ones, find family, or escape persecution? Across The Border is a film inspired by true events. Across The Border was originally written as a feature film length. Alberto Carapia has a message behind this film and is very simple. He wants to put out to the world the truth about immigration and low/middle class people struggles, without making a documentary out of it. This film is intended to inspire our beautiful audience through our characters with the intend to finish our feature film where Beto's dream will be a complete surprise once he arrives to Los Angeles. He is searching for the American Dream but things turned out very unexpected and he will have to make important decisions. Beto is a character that he was born in the United States and at a very young age his parents sent him to Mexico with his uncle, because they couldn't take care of him and now that his uncle has passed away, he got nothing else to lose. Now, he embarks himself into an adventure where he will do everything he can to find his family.
