From Fist to Knee (2019)

It is the story of two distinct gestures - silent protests heard around the world - decades apart yet bound by persistent parallels, and the absence of change. Through the eyes of a spoken word artist, loosely depicting Colin Kaepernick, we revisit the 1968 iconic human rights salute, the extraordinary courage and sacrifice of Tommie Smith and John Carlos, and the humanity of Peter Norman.
