El Papa de Xavi (2009)

The death of Juan Pablo II also supposed the end of one of the great characters created by the actor and humorist Xavi Castillo (Alcoi, Spain). That imitation had been decisive in his career: he was censored when he included it in one of his shows. With the pope dead, Castillo had to capture the tics of the new pontiff, Benedict XVI. That is why he put on the pilgrim's outfit and chased the Pope during his visit to Valencia on the occasion of the V World Meeting of Families. In this event the Valencian city council overturned with the visit of the head of the Vatican State, while several citizen groups joined forces to demonstrate against this waste of public money in a secular state. And Xavi Castillo was there. Would he manage to find his pope?
