The Cherokees - It's Hard Being A Bloke! (2016)

During the proceedings of The Cherokees band being on the road, they chance upon Madam Mimm, a self obsessed cleaning lady who is at the mercy of the evil Lord Vespertine and his conniving gang. She encourages the band along with 'Satan' (in disguise) to keep things 'clean and tidy' and oversees everyone doing the house cleaning and other household chores. The band quickly get into the obsessive cleaning and set about working as a team. A 'nod' to Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs as they gather in unison and start cleaning and singing, very thoroughly. Pete Rattlebone wrote this tune purposely to get away from the more blues orientated songs that appears throughout most of the movie and tv shows. It's really a pastiche pop song with a singalong chorus, sung in cockney, tongue in cheek, a salute to the nifty pop tunes from the seventies onwards (similar in style to piano duo Chas and Dave)
