Vandana Deshmukh a business woman also controls her house be it her kids or husband Mr Deshmukh.She wants to control everyone's life and make things work according to her she plans to marry her elder son Vivek to daughter of businessmen but he manages to elope with help of his father.Vivek reaches a village where he meets a village belly Shalini (Shalu) whose a tough women and cant tolerate injustice they both fall in love and get married.When they reach home Mr Deshmukh accepts them but Vandana Deshmukh does not consider Shalu as her daughter in law as she is a illiterate village girl.Shalu tries her best to inspire Vandana Deshmukh by doing good things but she always disrespects and insults her.But Shalu does not give up and always empowers her Vandana.
