Flashback to the Pool (2020)

A man visits a local swimming pool. Clearly made uncomfortable by the scrutiny of a lifeguard and other young patrons he slips under the water's surface, only to trigger a traumatic flashback to his own youth. Haunted by memories of a cruel game created by a military obsessed gym teacher he relives his childhood fear of drowning. Surfacing to stare deeply into the camera we are reminded that unmanaged trauma and unresolved bullying can leave deep psychological scars in later life.
