Taichya Bangdya (1993)

Suman lives with her two brothers elder Shyam who works in a village saw mill and younger Raju who studies in Mumbai.The trio also consider Dhanu as their brother whose son of Nanu Sheth and Shyam is in debts with him.Shyam requires seven thousand for Raju education unable to adjust it Suman asks him to mortgage her bangles.Dhanu informs Shyam and Suman that Raju is in love with a rich Shalaka and soon to be married Shyam comes to Mumbai to meet him and gets chance to meet Shalaka's father and luckily he gives him a proposal of marrying Suman to his friends son Inspector Ramesh.Shyam sacrifices his love for Vidya and mortgages his house with Nanu Sheth to arrange marriages of his siblings and also releases bangles of Suman.But tragedy strikes as Ramesh and Suman are attacked by goons and Suman looses her eyes following which her marriage is called off.Raju also wants to break his marriage but Shyam and Suman ask him not to do so but things don't remain the same after marriage of Raju and Shakala as Shalaka decides to create a drift between the siblings and proves that what bangles Suman gave her are not real.
