Vicine (2021)

Lucica, Ileana, and little Emanuela are neighbors. But their home is not like others; "Lucha y Siesta" has been occupied since 2009 by a group of activists and over the years has taken in dozens of women escaping violence. Here they have been given back the right to have a peaceful, loving daily life, far from threats and abuse. Ileana has finished her journey here with the support and friendship of the activists and has finally achieved economic independence. She is ready to leave "Lucha" and move to her own house with her daughter Emanuela. But while the three women are spending the last days living together under the same roof, a threat is looming over the women's home and its residents.
