Maria and the Brothers Gates (2020)

Based on the "Annotated African American Folktales" by Henry Louis Gates Jr. and Maria Tatar, "Maria and the Brothers Gates" chronicles the tale of two brothers who by mistake release characters from their Grandfather's magic book. The Brothers (Henry and Louis Gates) must work together with their cousin Maria, to learn about each released spirit, in order to mend broken bonds and bring them home to the book.
