111 tells two narratives, both alike and yet very different. Jack, a 10 year old girl goes on a trip with her father to visit her grandfather's grave in the 21st century. Father and daughter attempt to connect but fall short- their minds and bodies both in transit but moving in separate directions. Meanwhile, in 19th century Germany, a devout nun falls in love with a fisherman- Adam. She struggles with her growing desires for Adam in the face of her love for the Father.
