The film follows the aftermath of what was the largest tornado in the history of weather, an EF5. Residents are faced with the precarious choice, to leave, or rebuilt. Greensburg was released on PBS and The Documentary Channel in 2008. The documentary was nominated for a Heartland Regional Emmy Award for Topical Documentary.
