On the streets of a large city, Edgard protests. Absorbed in his apartment, he reads and reflects on the alienation of man: free to consume, but bound by the desire for private property. Even though he is pregnant, his companion Marcia leaves him, but not without warning him of the danger that lurks in him. Without direction, Edgard resumes his indignation against the society of which he is a part.
