Cornelian Cherries (2020)

Beri, the beloved family dog has passed away a while back. A lonely, middle aged mother, living in a small apartment in a suburb of Belgrade, grieves after him. On this lazy summer day she gets a call from her ex husband, saying that the dog's picture is missing from the grave. She plans a trip to Cortanovci, a village in rural Serbia, to redecorate the dog's grave. She and her older, eccentric aunt, who is obsessed with modern technology, go shopping for cute decorations for the dog's grave. While they take a bus trip to Cortanovci, we follow the regular day to day life of her ex husband and his senile father. On one of the hottest days of the year, they all reunite, on the dog's grave, and remember the past.
