The Next One (2020)

The place is Czechoslovakia, the year 1989. When she enters an abortion clinic, a lost, troubled young girl realizes that she has forgotten to bring socks, without which her gynecologist and nurses will not perform the procedure. As she speaks to the unkind nurses in hopes they could help her find socks, she observes the girls around her who have come to get an abortion either alone or accompanied by older women. In the midst of trauma and chaos, she manages to figure out how to get the indispensable socks.
