The Gift (1978)

John Gray, a young Texan, dies at 25 but is brought back to life by his doctors. He soon discovers he has the power to heal the sick. With the help of a wealthy mentor he rises to become a famous healer, but then overthrows his mentor because he threatens to publicly discredit Gray's power to heal, humiliate him and destroy his career if the young man does not do his bidding.
