Stay (2013)

The film tells about the joint investment project of the Foundation "Stay" and Gasthuisberg University Hospital - Leuven, Belgium "Creation of a reference center for the application of "specific immunotherapy"of patients with malignant brain tumors" through the fate of the first Bulgarian woman with a fatal brain tumor, which thanks to this project continues to live. The film was shot in Bulgaria and Belgium. Shown are several months of the life of the sick Lyubka, in which she and the doctors are struggling with the deadly tumor - tests, surgery, a trip to Belgium, vaccinations with a specially made vaccine. The patient Lyubka and her whole family, doctors, supporters of the project - the Belgian ambassador to Bulgaria, the discoverer of the method "specific immunotherapy" - the Belgian professor Van Gaal participate. The film has a certificate from the 15th International Festival of Red Cross and Health Films - Varna 2014.
