Marie does not feel like a good mother.Motherhood has a mysterious paradox:The joy of having children,mixed with the anxiety caused by being with children all the time.She is both a loving and toxic mother who spends vacation alone with her children,with an intense and frustrated desire for a man since her husband is absent.One evening,Marie interacts with seductive Martin,whom she had already detected around during her boring days at the beach.Then begins the love affair that will go wrong,leading demonstratively the story on the fate reserved for women(beaten,poorly regarded,confined to their role as mothers) since the dawn of time.
