Covid Release (2021)

A Zoom meeting is the setting for this searing drama. Psychologist Dr. Joan Briggs must evaluate whether five prisoners, released early to a halfway house due to an outbreak of COVID-19 at the prison, can be paroled. The men have no idea what they're in for as Briggs forces them to confront their abusive ways in order to discover the truth behind what they did. A story of violence committed solely through dialogue, "COVID RELEASE" is also a unique reflection of how we may be communicating with each other as we go forward into the all new normal.
