Greenwich (2020)

19-year-old Mia doesn't get accepted to any of the universities to which she applied. She's afraid to tell her best friend Jutta, who has her own family issues. Jutta's sister Sini still lives with their parents and suffers much because of their mother's alcoholism. Luckily, Mia gets a chance to apply to a school in Greenwich Village, USA. When Jutta finds out about Mia hiding this from her, they spend time apart. Mia studies alone in her and her brother Tuomo's apartment while Jutta and Sini enjoy the best days of summer. Finally, Jutta and Mia talk things through and send the application papers to the school Mia wants to attend. Weeks go by. Finally she gets the results: she got into the school. The girls talk about how they'll spend the rest of the summer.
