Identity Theft (2020)

AMIR is an adolescent Pakistani-American guy who lives at home with his parents in Jackson Heights, Queens. He secretly goes out at night into the city to pursue his dream of being a DJ while constantly code switching with his family and his friends. One night during Ramadan he is fired from his DJ gig, but meets a girl, HANNAH, at the club and they begin sharing the night. As they start to connect, he continues to fabricate lies about who he is to impress her and get laid. However, his masterful deception backfires.
