Summer 1990, Germany in the frenzy of reunification: In Brandenburg, Andy's youth clique uses the title win at the World Cup for a lively party at the lake: alcohol, drugs - film tears. What happened during the night takes on a new meaning 30 years later. Andy is now a successful investment banker and uses the Corona crisis to jump into his career. However, an anonymously written letter accuses him of raping a young woman and thus destroying her life. At first he suspects a professional intrigue - possibly in favor of his colleague Bea. The fact that his mother Ingrid also received the letter leads him to a different assumption. Someone in his old clique, with whom Andy hasn't contacted for 30 years, must have something to do with it. Little by little he visits his friends from before. Everyone has changed and not all dreams have come true after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Andy knows he didn't rape anyone. But perspectives change over time and there is a second truth behind the accusation that Andy has to face. When he meets his best friend Ronny again, he is confronted with the present and forced to wonder what attitude he wants to fill his life with.
