Flyvende sommer (1957)

Ever since childhood, the rather plain spinster Alma Winemiller has loved handsome young John Buchanan. He is, however, more drawn to Rosa Gonzales, the smalltown's sultry vamp. During this summer he descends into a seamy nightlife while ignoring Alma's dreams of romance and possible marriage. TV adaptation of Williams' 1948 stage play.
