Cruz 'The Cannon' Herrera has always been known as stepping stone his whole boxing career. He has always lived in the shadows of his foster brother Malcolm 'The Prince' Watkins who was once a great boxer on the rise. Malcolm had his knee destroyed by bookies when he wouldn't throw a fight to pay off a debt. Malcolm has damaged his relationship with Cruz and his father Pops, who was also his former trainer. Cruz's next fight is one that can change his career and earn back the respect of Pops and his gym. Malcolm has plans to cut his brother in on a deal to throw the fight and make some "easy" money. Cruz is on a mission to prove himself in the ring but his love for his brother can throw it all away.
